About Nicole
Nicole Gabbay, LMFT is a Middle Eastern American therapist whose work is deeply informed by over 15 years of personal recovery and sobriety. Her own healing journey shaped her path into this field, instilling a profound respect for the transformative power of therapy and a commitment to helping others create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. She works from a trauma-informed, somatic, and attachment-based lens, integrating principles of polyvagal theory to support nervous system regulation, deeper emotional processing and is also a certified yoga instructor.
Nicole has a nuanced understanding of the complexities that come with being a first-generation American, particularly the tension between cultural expectations and the desire to live an authentic, self-defined life. She specializes in working with individuals navigating enmeshment, boundary challenges, and recurring relational patterns. Many of Nicole’s clients find themselves repeatedly drawn to similar dynamics, whether in romantic relationships, family systems, or professional environments, often rooted in unresolved trauma and early attachment wounds.
Nicole believes deeply in accountability, inner child healing, and the importance of differentiating from one’s family of origin while still honoring cultural identity.
