FAMILY RECOVERY SERVICES
Addiction and mental health challenges affect the whole family, not only the person in treatment. Parents, partners, siblings and adult children often carry worry, guilt, anger and exhaustion for years, usually without support of their own.
Blackburn Clinical Services offers education, support and guidance to help families heal, rebuild trust and build healthier relationships, whether or not your loved one is in treatment with us.
Family coaching
One-on-one support for family members. A coach helps you understand your loved one's addiction or mental health issues, set clear boundaries, improve communication and find your footing through each stage of recovery. Coaching is personalized to your family and the situation you are actually in.
Family support groups
A safe place to meet other families who understand what you are going through. Groups offer education, coping strategies and emotional support, and they ease the isolation many families feel.
Our free virtual family support group meets every other week and is led by a licensed therapist from Blackburn Clinical Services. It is open to any family, whether or not your loved one is in treatment with us. Learn more about family support at Blackburn, or call to get the schedule and link.
Family intensive workshops
Focused, in-depth sessions on family roles, conflict resolution and rebuilding relationships. Workshops give families a structured setting to practice new communication skills and create a more supportive home.
