ADOLESCENT SERVICES

Adolescence is a time of tremendous growth, challenge and change. For young people navigating academic pressure, social dynamics, family transitions and mental health struggles, the right support can make all the difference. Blackburn Clinical Services provides compassionate, evidence-based care that helps teens build resilience, improve relationships and move toward a healthier future, from our office at 12326 Venice Blvd in West Los Angeles.

Our approach

We take a comprehensive, individualized approach that combines clinical expertise with an understanding of what adolescents need. Our team works closely with families, schools and other care providers so treatment is supportive and consistent.

  • Evidence-based care. Therapies proven effective for adolescents, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and family systems work.
  • Collaborative support. Parents and guardians are engaged throughout to strengthen family communication and stability.
  • Whole-person focus. Beyond symptoms, we address self-esteem, identity, peer relationships and healthy coping.

Services offered

All of our services are available individually or can be combined into a customized package to meet each person's needs.

  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Comprehensive assessments and ongoing psychiatric care tailored to adolescents.
  • Individual therapy. One-on-one sessions that give teens a safe space to explore challenges, build skills and process emotions.
  • Family therapy and family services. Focused sessions that strengthen communication, resolve conflict and create healthier family dynamics.
  • Neuropsychological testing. Evaluations that clarify ADHD, learning disorders and other concerns, with recommendations for school.
