Getting here from North Hollywood, or starting by video
By transit: North Hollywood has a direct rail link to downtown. The Metro B Line starts here and runs to Union Station, and from downtown you can connect west toward Culver City and Venice Blvd, where Metro Line 33 passes our block. It is a long ride with a transfer; plan it with Metro’s maps and trip planner.
By car: most drivers take US-101 or the SR-134 west to the I-405, then head south through the Sepulveda Pass toward Venice Blvd. All distances are approximate, and the pass is busiest at commute times.
By video: if you do not have a car, work odd hours, or simply want to skip the trip, video sessions work from any private space in California.
North Hollywood: local context and resources
North Hollywood is a City of Los Angeles neighborhood in the eastern San Fernando Valley, known for the NoHo Arts District around Lankershim and Magnolia. The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health lists North Hollywood in Service Area 2 (LA County DMH). Los Angeles County Public Health also counts North Hollywood in Service Planning Area 2, the San Fernando Valley (LA Almanac, citing LA County Public Health). The DMH Service Area 2 page links a peer resource center and a community shared resource directory, which can help when you are looking for free or low-cost support alongside private therapy.
The neighborhood draws many young adults and renters: actors, musicians, dancers, writers and people working day jobs while they build a creative career. That can mean unstable income, roommates, rejection, and the pressure of comparing yourself to peers who seem further along. Reasons people here reach out include anxiety, depression, ADHD that gets in the way of follow-through, and substance use that started as a way to cope. For performers on the road, see therapy for musicians and touring performers.

In the office or by video: which fits you
From North Hollywood, the office is reachable by car or by rail, and it is the only place for Brainspotting. Video fits people working nights, auditions or shifts, and parents who need to join from work. Career coaching is offered in both formats.
