When a client or a client’s family needs structure and follow-through rather than clinical care, Blackburn Mentoring, a sister organization, has referral pages for professionals. For clients who need outpatient drug and alcohol testing, Blackburn Monitoring is another sister organization.
What every referral has in common
- The client decides. An adult client, or a parent or guardian for a minor, chooses whether to start care.
- Written permission. We share information with a referring professional only with the client’s written permission, as allowed by law.
- Assessment first. Care starts with an assessment, and the plan is built around one person and adjusted as needs change.
- What we offer. Individual therapy, psychiatry, medication management, addiction psychiatry, the Concierge Outpatient Program, testing and family services.
- Where. Therapy takes place in our office at 12326 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066, in Mar Vista near Culver City, Venice and Santa Monica, or by secure video for clients located in California. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are provided by our board certified psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners. We are an out-of-network practice and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
