Getting here from Redondo Beach, or starting by video

By car: from Redondo Beach, the usual choices are Pacific Coast Highway north to Sepulveda Blvd, or the I-405 north, then west on Venice Blvd. North Redondo residents are closer to the freeway; people near the harbor often find Pacific Coast Highway simpler.

By transit: Redondo Beach is the southern end of the Metro K Line. The K Line runs north to Expo/Crenshaw, where the E Line heads west toward Culver City, and Metro Line 33 runs along Venice Blvd. Check Metro’s maps and schedules for the current timetable.

By video: commuting professionals in Redondo Beach often keep weekday sessions on video from home and save the drive for times they want to be in the room.

Redondo Beach: local context and resources

Redondo Beach is a coastal South Bay city of 71,576 people at the 2020 Census (U.S. Census Bureau figures via LA Almanac), known for its harbor and pier and served by the Metro K Line. County mental health services for the city are organized through Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Service Area 8 (LA County DMH; LA Almanac), and 211 LA County lists free and low-cost options nearby.

Many households here are families and professionals who commute across the region, and burnout is a theme we hear often: long weeks, a commute that eats the evening, and the feeling of running on empty. Burnout can overlap with depression and anxiety, and it helps to sort out which is which. For people rethinking the work itself, career coaching offers practical structure, and it can pair with therapy.

Who we help in Redondo Beach

In the office or by video: which fits you

At about 10 miles, the Mar Vista office works for Redondo Beach clients who like an in-person hour or want Brainspotting, which is office only. Video fits the commuter whose evenings are already short, and parents can join family sessions from wherever they are in California.
